Smoke Detection

Smoke & Fire Detection | Gas Suppression | Fire Beams

Early smoke and fire detection are essential for minimising risks and ensuring rapid intervention. Multi-sensor detection technology, combining optical, heat, and ionisation sensors, improves accuracy and reduces false alarms caused by environmental factors such as dust or steam.

Our systems are designed to integrate seamlessly with other safety and security measures, such as alarm systems and emergency response protocols, ensuring a coordinated approach to hazard management. This integration facilitates prompt evacuation and emergency response, minimising potential damage and ensuring occupant safety.

Fire safety solutions can save lives, protect infrastructure, and safeguard business continuity.

With our real-time monitoring solutions, facility managers can receive instant alerts via mobile apps or centralised control rooms, enabling immediate intervention and minimising downtime.

ASD particle detector

Our Aspirating Smoke Detection (ASD) systems actively sample air for microscopic particles, offering ultra-early fire detection in critical environments like data centres. AI-driven smoke recognition algorithms can differentiate between dust, steam, and actual smoke, reducing false alarms. Smart wireless IoT sensors enable large-scale deployment in high-ceiling warehouses and multi-building campuses, ensuring comprehensive coverage.

Traditional smoke detection systems often detect fires too late, potentially delaying response time. Advanced ASD systems offer ultra-early warning capabilities, continuously sampling air for microscopic smoke particles before visible flames or dense smoke appear.

Fire Beams

Fire beam detectors are an ideal solution for large open spaces such as warehouses, atriums, shopping centres, and industrial facilities where conventional smoke detectors may not provide adequate coverage. Fire beams work by projecting an infrared beam across a room to a reflector or receiver unit, constantly monitoring for smoke interference. When smoke disrupts the beam’s transmission, an alarm is triggered, providing early detection.

One of the key advantages of fire beam detectors is their ability to cover long distances of up to 100 metres with a single device, reducing the number of detectors required compared to traditional point-based systems. This makes them a cost-effective and less intrusive fire detection solution, particularly in high-ceiling environments where maintenance of conventional smoke detectors is challenging.

Gas Suppression

For environments where water-based fire suppression could cause damage to sensitive equipment, gas suppression systems provide an effective alternative to sprinklers. These systems work by removing heat, reducing oxygen, or chemically disrupting the combustion process to extinguish fires without causing harm to electronics, documents, or valuable assets.
